Paula N. Gordon, counsel in the Litigation Department at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, joined the firm in 1997.  Her practice includes white collar criminal and regulatory enforcement matters.  She has defended enforcement matters brought by securities regulators, and handled numerous internal investigations.  Ms. Gordon also provides compliance related advice to brokerage house, investments banks and investment advisers with respect to U.S. and international operations.

Ms. Gordon received a B.A. from Smith College in 1988.  She completed a J.D. magna cum laude from Howard University School of Law in 1994 where she served as special articles & notes and comments editor for the Howard Law Journal.  Following law school, Ms. Gordon was a law clerk to Honorable Francis D. Murnaghan, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and to Honorable Emmet G. Sullivan of the U.S. District Court, District of Columbia.

Ms. Gordon is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and a member of the American Bar and National Bar Associations.
