Shiri Ben-Yishai is a member of the corporate department at Wachtell Lipton. Since she joined the firm in 2004, she has worked on a variety of transactional, corporate and securities law matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, tender offers, proxy fights, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, restructurings, asset and stock acquisitions, both domestic and international, negotiated and unsolicited.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ben-Yishai practiced corporate law in Israel, where she represented clients in a wide array of industries, including insurance, financial institutions, real estate, consumer goods, travel and high tech. Ms. Ben-Yishai was also a former Sergeant in the Israeli Air Force.
Ms. Ben-Yishai received a B.A. and an LL.B. from Tel-Aviv University in 1998, where she was the President of student body from 1997 to 1998 and appeared on the Dean's List from 1996 to 1998. She also received an LL.M., magna cum laude, from Tel-Aviv University in 2002.
