Steven P. Winter joined the Litigation Department as an associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in 2009, rejoining the firm in 2011 following his clerkships. He focuses on complex commercial litigation and white-collar and regulatory matters.

Mr. Winter received a B.A. summa cum laude with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005 and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He completed a J.D. from Yale Law School in 2008 where he was a senior editor of the Yale Law Journal. Following law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Pierre N. Leval of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and to the Honorable Kimba M. Wood of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Mr. Winter is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the Federal Bar Council.
