Global Payments in its $1.5 billion strategic investment from Silver Lake Partners

On August 1, 2022, Global Payments Inc., a leading worldwide provider of payment technology and software solutions, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Silver Lake Partners under which Silver Lake will make a strategic investment of $1.5 billion in the form of convertible senior notes.
