MDU Resources Group in the spinoff of its construction materials business, Knife River

On August 4, 2022, MDU Resources Group, Inc. announced that it has entered into a cooperation agreement with Corvex Management LP, which owns approximately 4.99% of MDU Resources’ outstanding common stock.  MDU Resources also reaffirmed that it continues to make meaningful progress toward completing the previously announced spinoff of its Knife River construction materials business and in its strategic review of its MDU Construction Services Group business.
