Owen P. H. Giles is a visiting attorney in the Restructuring and Finance Department of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.

Prior to joining the Firm, Owen worked as a Senior Associate in the Finance practice of the law firm Macfarlanes in London, England. He has advised on a broad range of finance transactions and specializes in advising borrowers, sponsors, banks and financial institutions on acquisition and leveraged financings, corporate investment and sub-investment grade facilities, and investment fund capital call and fund leverage facilities. Owen received his BSc in Finance with Management with honors from the University of Westminster, and his LLB in Law with honors from City, University of London. He is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales.  Prior to attending university and becoming a lawyer, Owen was a professional rugby player with Northampton Saints in England.
