Derrick L. Parker Jr.

Derrick L. Parker Jr. is an associate in Wachtell Lipton’s Corporate Department.

Derrick received his B.A. in Political Science from Morehouse College, where he graduated summa cum laude, valedictorian of his class, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. At Morehouse, Derrick was Gates Millennium Scholar, Coca-Cola Scholar, GE-Reagan Scholar, and a Truman and Rhodes Scholar Finalist. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he was a member of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau and Harvard Defenders. At Harvard, Derrick was also selected as a NAACP Legal Defense Fund Scholar and National Bar Association: Gateway to Success Scholar.

Derrick served as a law clerk to the Honorable Raymond J. Lohier, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
