Whirlpool Corporation in its $3 billion acquisition of the InSinkErator business of Emerson Electric
On August 7, 2022, Whirlpool Corporation announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Emerson Electric Co. to acquire InSinkErator, the world’s largest manufacturer of garbage disposals and instant hot water dispensers for home and commercial use, in an all-cash transaction for $3 billion.
