Jacobs in its spin-off and combination of its Critical Mission Solutions and Cyber & Intelligence government services businesses with Amentum

On November 20, 2023, Jacobs Solutions Inc. (NYSE:J) announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to spin-off and combine its Critical Mission Solutions and Cyber & Intelligence government services businesses with Amentum, a leading global engineering and technology solutions provider, to create a new publicly-traded leader in the government sector.  In May 2023, Jacobs announced its intent to spin off its CMS business to create two separate companies.  The Reverse Morris Trust transaction will create a robust, leading global systems integration and technology solutions business with approximately $13 billion annual revenue.
